Who can Apply?
You passed a 4-year Honours degree (2019 to 2023 sessions) under National University. You must have at least 45% marks in the traditional system or a minimum CGPA of 2.25.
You passed Preliminary to Masters (Regular) or 1st Part Masters (Regular) plus a 3-year Pass degree. Both must have a minimum of 45% marks or a CGPA of 2.25.
Important Restrictions
- You cannot apply if you are already studying in any Masters (Regular/Private) program.
- You cannot apply if you already hold a Masters degree.
- You must upload a signed undertaking declaring you are not currently admitted elsewhere.
- Applicants with wrong or fake information will have their admission cancelled.

Key Dates & Information:
No College Confirmation Needed: The concerned colleges do not need to confirm the release slip application online.
You must apply for the release slip to get a place on the merit list if you fall into any of these categories: (a) you did not get a place on the merit list, (b) you got a place on the merit list but did not enroll, (c) you enrolled but later canceled your admission, or (d) you completed your 2nd phase preliminary application between May 11, 2026, and May 17, 2026, and it was confirmed by the respective college.
Online applications for the release slip start on May 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM and will remain open until June 15, 2026, at 12:00 AM.
Who Cannot Apply: If your preliminary application was not confirmed online by the college, you are not eligible to apply for the release slip.
Choosing Colleges & Subjects: By navigating to the College Selection Option, you can select any college to view the list of vacant seats for your eligible subjects. You will then determine and enter your eligible subjects from the vacant seat list for each college. You will fill out the form by selecting subjects across three preferred colleges sequentially.
No Fees or College Submission: While you must download and keep a printed or PDF copy of the release slip application form, you do not need to submit this form to the applied colleges. Furthermore, you do not have to pay any fees.
Masters Release Slip Result 2026
The National University is going to publish the release slip result for the 2023-2024 Masters program. All the official rules are available in the “Masters Release Slip Result 2026.pdf” notice. Students can easily check their results using a mobile phone or the internet. If you get a place on the merit list, you must fill out a final form online. You also need to submit a printed copy of the form and pay the admission fee to your college.
- Result Publish Date: June 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM.
- Check by SMS: Type nu atmf [your roll no] and send it to 16222. You can do this from 4:00 PM.
- Check Online: Visit the website www.nu.ac.bd/admissions. The result will be available there from 9:00 PM.
